i play on boost low with mic output at about 300

Boost in game settings, and check your mic/sounds in the console settings as well.
What headset?
Play midnight
there’s voice chat volume and mic volume underneath those. adjust those settings as needed.
Boost high on cod audio settings and mess around with the Xbox audio settings to find a good balance.
I wouldn’t place my monitor on top of an Xbox like that imo.
