Call of Duty Warzone Question about Finishing Move and Stick & Move Controller Layout (XBOX)

Maybe a stupid question, but I use Stick & Move Controller Layout on Xbox and when I try to press and hold the A button to do all I do is fight once. Does anyone know how to actually do the final step? Please and thank you!
