Theres like 3 other pickaxe that also dont work and Its annoying using them. They’re all pretty cool too, that’s the sad part :/
I have no interest in the Kratos skin but think the pickaxe is quite cool. Would probably get it, but not if it doesn’t work properly in STW. Guess I’ll just stick with my trusty Icebreaker. My first love.
BR cosmetic doesn’t work in STW news at 11. Also this happens literally every time they add in a harvesting tool cosmetic that doesn’t use the basic pickaxe/dual axes animations.

Im new to STW, so am i missing something? Is it just the animation? (I haven’t seen the regular BR animation)
Didn’t theybsay cosmetics going forward may not work properly in Save the World when they basically rinsed their hands of it.

They literally said they weren’t doing anything more for the new skins coming from BR, like making them work… maybe you should keep yourself up to date with the STW news eh?
Since almost everyone here apparently doesn’t actually fully read things, i’ll post the part of the 13.20 blog post everyone was leaving out.

They have not said anything about this, like they said they would. This is just them being too fucking lazy to fix the pickaxes.
If this is actually the support ending, then Epic lied to us (again) by saying they would announce when its ending, they are also scamming people by not letting them know that these cosmetics DON’T work in STW

An hour before this, there’s post with the same issue. Epic developer said it’ll be fixed in 15.10.
