Xbox or PlayStation? By downloading the full version you mean you’ve already purchased it after the trial ended?

For what it’s worth on PlayStation my download of the trial unlocked when the game came out (I preordered) so there must be a way where you trigger the purchase to unlock the download you already have. Otherwise I would possibly delete that install and follow the instructions above.
