Yeah they have this animation where they put their arms out to shield themselves and hunch over like they are a domestic violence victim shielding themselves from another hit.

Apparently this was addressed in the last patch, but like most other “fixes” I don’t see any difference from before.

The stagger is the worst. Like we don’t have control of our players already but the stagger means you really have no control.
Add in how many times your players fall over after shooting and you can’t control them while they are down then either.
PES had this problem, the stun tackle and I guess EA thought it was really cool and put it in fifa.
Oh man it’s so fun having the perfect angle to pass when your player suddenly decides to clash and get stunned with it being an easy interception for the opponent to thread a through ball with his 30 passing CB to an running striker for the counter attack.
