I used them in my ssd to make a race track
i use it to yeet myself out of the map
there used to be a ltm that ask you to build tracks and race to the finish line. You have to use those to get a plat or gold medal

I only used it in the race mission that was added a while back
I still use from time to time, but I use the directional launch pads a lot more
Use it when I’m bored and make a square out of them so I can keep going and never stop on my hoverboard
I have it in Twine next to the gaiser at lava pit amp so it can launch me quickly to beach amp
I made a race track in my home base that was super fun.
I use it to become a Beyblade. You set up a ring with the floor covered in these, let in a single husk, and see who can last the longest.
When it first came out everyone used it, mostly for fun but yeah. Oh and on that one mission type where you had to do laps. :B
I still use some in my SSDs to get around faster. Gotta gather that dropped stuff _and_ get to the next attack spot to place my base.
I have. I made what I call The Yeeter. Hoverboard out, zoom on it at a husk, and use my hammer with good knockback on said husk. If they dont die, they go flying. Very impractical, but hilarious to watch.
It’s not a trap its a placematt for your hoverboard to go fast and not i’ve never used it, LoL..
I use sometimes when objective is near edge of map to Weeeeeeeee husks off the edge, but only for that reason

Only with test the Limits. If you pair it with the launch pads, you’ll fly across the map.
We need those racing quest back so that player will actually use these
I have used them back in time when we had these beta or alpha missions where we had to make rounds around map as fast as possible.
I’d use them a lot more if they did something to help you when on foot too. I’d like it if they would give a speed boost to running for a time period. Like make you run at 1.5x speed for 30 seconds or something. Or if they would let us build while on the hoverboard then I could place one in front of me for a nice boost.
Same, like when are you gonna need a boost for your hoverboard while in your base?
When they first released players would use them mainly to mess around. But yeah, they are essentially useless.

I use it in RtS missions to make an afk thing
Every mission. When the objective is far as hell, Tower up, blop it down and activate your board. You get launched across the map.
I made a skate park thing in my plankertown Homebase using these and the various jump pads
In the old race missions would use a ton of these with walls to block momentum to turn a 2 min lap onto a 10 second one
This was a must when STW did the rally race matches
I tried to setup a fast ramp for twine but they only go one way and I didn’t want to make two of them so I tore it down. If they went in all four direction like the launch pad trap then it would be way more useful
i used them twice.
When i got them, i made a plank racetrack then destroyed it
Canny travel; use them to go to each amp FAST.

Pretty fun combined with directional jump pad.
Me and a friend only have really used them for goofs. We went so fast we flew past the lower kill plane and fell out of bounds. This was before Epic added the kill walls around maps though :c
