   Personally, in this game, I would like Verification to mean that the person produces some kind of content that is worth exploring.

   When you give it to just about anyone, then the idea that we should care gets diluted and we just overlook it when a Verified player is in the game, which hurts people who have actually earned Verification status because they lose out on people looking into what it is they do.
