Hey everyone, you probably don't know me since I'm using an alternate account. I joined Krunker in October 2018.

I will just say it: I hate the recurring nature of this game. You log in, (after the last update) you play a free KR vs game, keep playing games, take on some challenges, and expect either 1) turn over items on the market or 2) earn enough KR to get a certain number of Heroic Spins, depending on Your level. She recently got $ 10,000 free turnover, invested that in the market, and got it to around 42,000 before giving up. Yes, that's the most I got in all of my Kronker history, and yes, I've spent everything on Heroic tournaments and I haven't gotten anything, which is part of the reason I left this game.

When I first got to know this game, my friends and I used to play regularly on a map with a name that I don't remember; It was an airport and there were many lanes surrounding it. It was fun for fun. We never considered how we would earn more KR or how much we achieved during market volatility that week. Today, that's all we are discussing at all. Certain maps and general challenges already exist but the market and the aspect of trying to get better skins than other players have satiated this game, and this is something I can't skip over. My time to play this game went from two fun hours to a useless grind that sucks over half of my day. Sure, this might be just a problem for me or for those who want to grind, but even grind is boring: join a match, slide games up to top speed, people with a head, spin, injuries, death, repeat, etc.
& # x200B;
I understand why streamers play it, and definitely the planners aren't wrong; After all, many people's livelihoods depend on this game. I'm just trying to share the experience of an unofficial player after season one, and how quickly it turns into a mindless milling for more KR and better skins. In fact, I'm going to go so far as to say my favorite time on this game is back before the seasons become something. Sydney, if you've been reading this, you've been and still are a big fan of your other games: vertix.io and karnage.io. I am still logged in and playing these games from time to time because it doesn't matter what your skin or level is; Players who are still playing these games are doing it for nostalgia.

Finally, here's a little possibility for anyone to read. Let's say you're trying to get unreachable complexion. You can get one at 0.01%, or 0.0001 if expressed as a decimal between 0 and 1. We will use the engineering distribution to explain the number of cycles that you need to perform to get access to it, because the engineering distribution is better to estimate the number of experiments the event will take considering the probability a certain. You can read more about this on Wikipedia.
& # x200B;
The estimated value, or average, of this distribution has a complex way to derive, but as a high-level overview, it tells you how many experiments are expected before you achieve success with a particular possibility. Now, if we take 0.0001 as the probability of getting what cannot be obtained, the resulting average distribution is 9999; In other words, we need to do approximately ten thousand rounds to get what you can't get. Obviously, if you divide 100% by 0.01%, you will basically get the same result. But I wanted to give a little more sporty background to my area.
& # x200B;
If we take Heroic Spins rolls, each of which is 500 KR, we have a total total of 9999 * 500 KR = 4,999,500 KR that must be spent before getting what cannot be obtained. Consequently, RGB currently selling in the store needs higher pricing. It is basically a theft.
& # x200B;
The purpose of this short trick was to show how this game kept us going: 0.01% looks like a high likelihood (due to the number of videos about people getting unreachable things) but it's not really so. At this point, I feel that the system has failed me, or maybe it has failed the system created in this game by surrendering despite there being many incentives not to do so. I want to enjoy this game because I enjoy playing it, not because I get some rewards and earn some KR on the market after grinding for months in a row.
& # x200B;
TL; DR I don't like what this game has become, I miss the old days, the days before the first season. You also need to spend an average of 4.9 million KR to get an unreachable game.
Modification: Haha yeah, I meant to say October 2018. Also, it was actually September 2018, so I just looked at my account one last time. Goodbye Cronker. I will definitely miss the days I spent here.
Why do you think it’s called an unobtainable?
This is a great post and you touched on something that I felt about the game, too. It can become an endless grind for skins. Those people who only spend time on the market barely even play the game, if at all. And that was me for a while, too, until it hit me that all I was doing was the market and I had lost interest in the game. And for quite a few players, Krunker is primarily a dress-up game with an FPS on the side. Also, the grind for skins is never ending because you cannot keep up with how many skins they release. There’s over 1500 skins in 2 years since Krunker was released and many of them are extremely rare. You simply can’t keep up. Even the richest players in the game who have all the items will eventually not be able to keep up. It’s ridiculous.
As for Spins: yeah, it’s a complete ripoff. You mentioned that the RGB on the market is a steal, but the truth is EVERYTHING on the market is a steal compared to Spins. I’ve advocated for reducing the cost of Spins by at least 50% *MINIMUM* because that’s how bad they are. Sadly, my two attempts at a thread were deleted, but I digress. And Spins are even worse now with the KR nerf. But, the devs do not care. They want everything to be expensive rather than reasonable. They have the community believing that higher skin prices is why they nerf’d KR (“inflation”) when most of the community is too … to realize that they intentionally make everything so rare that the prices have to go up. If they didn’t want higher priced skins, they would’ve never released unobtainables and, in S3, 40 contrabands. When you think about it, they’re trying to be like CS:GO with their outrageous skin prices.
It’s sad to see you go, but I completely understand where you’re coming from because I was going to quit the game before I eventually quit the market.
Krunker for me is just a fun pass-time that I want to get good at. For me, grinding is A PART of the fun. Improving and looking back on my journey in games is really fun and cool to me. So regardless of skins and kr, I’ll still have fun with the game.
“Why I’m leaving after almost 2 years”
>I joined Krunker in October of 2019
Did you mean 2018???
I can agree with you, this games main appeal for me was the fun, simple, chill, and casual experience that it gave me unlike other games. I would quickly hop into a game on Bazaar, quickscope some fools, scream at guests using the revolver, and play games full with my friends.
Seeing this game becoming complex as time went on is amazing yes, I appreciate the hard work poured into this, but IMO some of these newer features take away what I enjoyed about Krunker.
Slidehopping really widened the gap between players with NASA PC setups, and middle schoolers on their chronebooks, but it also meant a higher skill ceiling for the game. So it’s almost like a candy with a razor blade in it.
Well i would argue skins dont matter here either. Neither does KR. But i understand your decision to leave
bruh if ur going put skins in the game literally almost impossible to get why put them there like so much people wont even have a chance to get one becuase they sont have super computer to grind and stuff like just normal 60 fps players
So you’re saying that all you care about is grinding for KR, but you don’t enjoy grinding for KR? I don’t understand. If you don’t enjoy the actual gameplay, sure, don’t play it, but burning out is inevitable.
I think part of the enjoyment for me is about finding new maps to play on and the different game modes add a bit of variation as well. Finding good people to play with helps too.
Perhaps you stepping away for a bit might help break the cycle of grinding for kr and skins.
Also if our paths ever cross in vertix, do say hi. Love a good chat ig xD
