v10.31 Today Fortnite Patch Notes – Mobile Party Hub, bug fixes and more

Here are the full patch notes for Fortnite v10.31 update today.

Epic usually announces a new update before 5pm EST the day before with the news feed updated to announce the next item coming to the game. This was not the case this time with the Epic tweet version three hours ago stating that the v10.31 update will come today.

Epic has now released Patch Notes v10.31, which can be seen below. There is no mention of Fortnite X Batman’s collaboration, however, it is likely to be published separately, or it may not be broadcast live until tomorrow.

Weapons + Items

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Star Wand and AC / DC Pickaxes and failure to do the intended amount of damage.
    • Because this issue has been resolved, these Pickaxes have been re-enabled.


  • Storm circles will not end in the following locations (Basic and Arena):
    • The palms are moist
    • Greasy Grove
    • Slanting city
    • Retail row

Bug fixes

  • A problem where Ziplines can give players an unintended effect has been resolved.
    • Because this issue has been resolved, Ziplines has been re-enabled.
  • When a player is eliminated, damage to the Storm Surge threshold will no longer be removed from his team mates.


  • Creator support codes can now be used for real money in-game demos.
    • More information on this topic will be available in a blog post later this week.
    • Please note: For any packages that contain V-Bucks, revenue sharing will be applied to the Creator code entered when V-Bucks are spent from that package.

    • Connect with Fortnite friends on the go so the party never stops. See who’s online, party, and jump in-game together on any platform. (Or just a voice chat!)

  • multitasking
    • This new feature lets you use two apps at once on supported iPads! Supported iPad models include:
      • IPad Pro
      • iPad (5th generation and later)
      • iPad Air 2 and later
      • iPad mini 4 and beyond
    • By enabling multitasking, all iPads will be able to rotate the screen orientation to enter portrait mode.
      • If you don’t want to play in Portrait mode, enable Rotate Lock on your iPad.


  • From the server on September 13
    • A problem with some mission objectives has been resolved and does not measure progress.
